FAQs

Question

are kids allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately this is an adults only event. We would love to have all of the kids there but we want the evening to be as stress-free as possible and want our guest to enjoy the night with no responsibilities.

Question

what should men wear?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable. No jacket or tie required. Nice pants or nice shorts are recommended. A polo shirt or dress shirt is fine.

Question

what should women wear?

Answer

No heels! We will be primarily on grass. Sun dresses, fancier dresses, rompers, pant suits...whatever you're comfortable dancing in.

Question

why can't I park at the venue?

Answer

The town doesn't allow parking on Staats Farm Road. The town is aware of the event and your car could be ticketed or towed. There are some side streets that allow parking but it would be a quarter mile down the road. If you strongly feel you need to park near the venue, please reach out to the mother of the bride (201)-602-9762

Question

where and when can I take the shuttle?

Answer

Please refer to the "travel" section of our site for shuttle times.

Question

aren't you already married?

Answer

Yes we are! We had a small ceremony in january but are considering our wedding in september our real wedding date, making it feel official with all of our friends and family present!

Question

after party?

Answer

The hotel bar closes early and my moms house does not! The DJ and bar will be packing up around 1030 but there will be plenty of food and alcohol left over for an after-party back by the pool.
