You've got questions? We’ve got answers!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We adore your kids, trust us! However, we respectfully request no children at the reception, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening.

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Our beautiful venue, the Wylder Hotel, offers over 50 rooms for our guests at a special discounted rate. We've reserved the entire property exclusively for our wedding celebration. See the “How? What? Why?” tab to book your room now.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is somewhere in between cocktail and semi-formal. Please be comfortable but note that we hope to hold a majority of events outside if weather allows.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance on your RSVP.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at the Wylder.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

For any questions or concerns, please feel free to text Deirdra at 301-904-0429 or Stefan at 315-323-3587.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Please see the schedule page on our website for the list of events.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Our ceremony will move indoors at the Wylder if needed.

Question

Will Halloween be celebrated?

Answer

Yes, we'll be celebrating Halloween at our Welcome Party on Friday, October 30th! Costumes are encouraged, so feel free to get creative. For all the exciting details, please check the events page. While the wedding itself won't have a Halloween theme, the Welcome Party is the perfect opportunity to embrace the festive spirit.

Question

What if I can only come for one night?

Answer

While booking two nights isn't mandatory at the Wylder, our late afternoon ceremony may require some flexible planning. Check-in is not until 4 o’clock and we expect the ceremony to start at or before then.
