Is there a parking fee at Lakes Park?

Answer

Yes! It’s $1/hr or $5 all day. There are several kiosks located all over the park, one is very close to our pavilion. They accept all major cards except American Express. Once paid and printed keep parking pass on dash.

What is the dress code?

Answer

There isn’t one. We want our guests as comfortable as possible. We are strongly encouraging a medieval/renaissance/fantasy/fairy attire but it is not mandatory. Some fun accessories will be provided at the pavilion.

Will there be a wedding ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately no. We are having a private ceremony 12/28. We will legally be married in time to celebrate our union with all of you!

Alcohol?

Answer

Lakes Park does not allow alcoholic beverages on the property! We will not be serving them and you cannot bring them in. We can discuss before and after parties lol

Can I fish in the park?

Answer

Yes. You need a Florida freshwater fishing license to fish on the property in the designated areas! We will not think it’s rude (Daniel will probably be out there first lol) Bring your own supplies and join him

I’m traveling out of town. Where is the closest airport?

When should I RSVP by?

Please rsvp by 11/1/23 and include how many adults and children will be attending with you.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! We are located beside a large playground and we will provide additional activities for both children and adults.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Plan to arrive around 10am. Lunch will be provided and served at 12:30pm.

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

Unfortunately no. Booty will be sending her love from home. Lakes Park is not pet/dog friendly.

What amenities are open in the park?

Answer

Everything except the splash pads! The train will be running, rental facilities open, and the ice cream shop will be open. Please have fun in the park and wander!

Will there be vegetarian options?

Answer

Yes! We will have veggie kabobs as a lunch option in addition to several veggie sides :)
