Due to recent events, we have to keep our wedding very small, but because we couldn't fathom not having you be apart of our special day we've opted for a professional live streaming service to capture our ceremony and the toast. This service will only allow 50 people to watch at a time so if you get bumped off, try back the next hour as the footage will remain available for 24 hours. The exact streaming instructions will be available 7 days 7 days prior to the ceremony. At that time I will upload the link to this page and if you follow the instructions below I will send the link directly to your e-mail. Please send an e-mail to wiersmawedding2020@gmail.com with your name so we can make sure to send you the link and the passcode for viewing.
His Story After a day of hiking with a couple of friends, we decided to get some grub and catch the NBA Finals game at a local brewery. We ended up talking more to our server Madison than actually watching the game. Jordan, my friends wife noticed my immediate interest and encouraged me to leave my number on the receipt, reluctantly I decided to test my luck. She told us she was pursuing a degree in law so, we thought it would be comedic to incorporate that somehow into the note. In a team effort, we came up with a clever saying, “Hey I need some legal advice from you. Let me know when you are free, here’s my number”. To my surprise, I received a text message about an hour later. Her Story Our love story began in Portland on June 9th 2017. Deidre was a customer at a downtown brewery where I served him and his friends. Some flirtatious banter was exchanged back and forth over an hour or two before the check was delivered. Deidre left a witty comment and his phone number on the receipt. Since none of us exchanged names, I wasn't sure which one was Deidre, but after a quick social media search and only a handful of Deidre's, I learned it was exactly who I wanted it to be. Our Story A few months later, they took their first trip together to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Little did they know this trip would be the gateway to the rest of their lives. After signing up for a vacation club membership, they decided in that moment they would spend as much time as possible traveling the world together. The couple spent the next two years living up to their promise and traveling at every opportunity. They visited Cozumel, Costa Rica, Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Cabo and Tulum. Although they always talked about getting married in the place they fell in love, they still had other goals to accomplish first. On December 23rd, 2019 Deidre FINALLY popped the question at a viewpoint overlooking the ocean in Lincoln City where Madison said YES!!
