Sarah has been a best friend to me for ten years. When I look back on our friendship, I know that God brought us together at the perfect point in our lives. We couldn't have known as young high school freshman all we would share; adventures, sorrow, laughs, and in time grow into the women we are today. Sarah can know my thoughts with just a look and change my mood with a quick crack of sarcasm. She is the person who taught me what selfless friendship is and the one who stood by me in the rain and in the sun. Sarah is the friend who became my sister and the sister I could never part from.

Bonding over being an under appreciated part of the JV soccer team, Austin and I have been best friends since freshman year of high school. Our friendship has grown into a brotherhood that I am thankful for every day. Austin is loyal, trustworthy, and hard working. He has always been there for me and it means the world to me to have him by my side on the day I get married.

Just a few moments with Katie, and anyone can clearly see what a light she is in this world. Katie's friendship came into my life at a point were I needed her the most. Her unconditional love, kind spirit, and huge heart welcomed me into her world and made me feel like we had been friends our entire lives. To be loved by Katie is an honor, she is a friend who will move heaven and earth to make you smile. Her passion for adventure, love of others, and optimism are just a few of the things I love about her. Katie is the friend we all hope to have, and there are not enough words to explain the blessing she is in my life.

For 17 years, Jacob has been by my side. We met in the 4th Grade and as we both had wearing football jerseys every day of the week in common, you could say we hit it off. His family has played a major role in my upbringing while playing soccer together all throughout our adolescent and teenage years. Jacob is one of the smartest people I know. I have always looked up to him in that regard and am proud of the person he has become today.

When I look back on my college memories, Anna has been there for every big moment. The bond we share was built on a shared faith and a love of life. Anna came into my life at a time when I needed a reminder of what true friendship was and set the bar for how you should love your friends. She is a friend who gives genuine love and makes any time passed disappear once we're reunited. She lights up any room she enters and never fails to bring the party to life. It is a blessing to call Anna one of my best friends and to know she is by my side throughout life's many journeys.

Taking a gamble on a random roommate in Jacob’s freshman year of college brought Connor into my life. He is my most adventurous friend and has always enjoyed traveling. He introduced our group to ski trips along the East Coast that ended up being some of our best memories. Connor is loyal, thoughtful, and someone I am grateful to have in my life.

He is one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I know and is an essential piece to the group as the grill master. As our family likes to remind us of our childhood memories, it is our adventures as adults that hold a special place in my heart. Countless after class Madden sessions and trips to Todd dining hall while sharing an interest in music, football, and good food, Blake and I instantly bonded. Blake is easy to talk to, brotherly, cheerful, and I’m glad to consider him a best friend.

There are not enough words to describe the kind-hearted, genuine friend that is Maura. My cousin, who has loved me like a sister my entire life, has the biggest heart of anyone I have ever met. She has been a support and a comfort in times when I needed it the most. She can make me laugh with just one silly joke, usually about Katie, and I can always count on her to make me smile. It was an honor to stand by her side last year as she married her husband, Tim, and an honor to have her as my bridesmaid.

Travis came into my life as Jacob’s younger cousin and soccer teammate, since then we have been friends for over a decade. Now Travis is one of my closest friends and someone I am so thankful to have in my life; and with me on my wedding day.
