Answer

Welcome Dinner: Smart casual Wedding Day and Reception: Black-tie optional. Please refer to the "Dress code" tab on the site for look-book and inspiration. Farewell Breakfast: Resort Casual

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, we kindly ask that you make arrangements for a child-free celebration so everyone can relax and enjoy the experience to its fullest. However, we understand that this might not be possible for everyone. For those who need to bring their children, the Villa offers limited child-care services. Please let us know in advance if you’ll require this, and we’d be happy to help coordinate. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to a stringent cap at the wedding venue, we need to check the final head count. If your plus one is not included on the invitation, please let us know, and we will try our best to accommodate.

Question

Can I stay off-site?

Answer

Yes, you can! Please see the Accommodation tab for recommendations. While we do have Villa Lena reserved, there are plenty of other options ranging from 5 star+ to budget-friendly B&Bs and farmhouses nearby. However, please note that some of these accommodations may not have air conditioning, as it is less commonly used in Italy. Additionally, some places may require a multiple-day to one-week stay as it is High Season in Tuscany.

Question

Is there parking at Villa Lena?

Answer

Yes. Villa Lena offers free parking. There is a Tesla charging station. Please note that Villa Lena is on a hilltop which means the roads get narrow so drive carefully! For those renting cars from nearby cities, please remember that many rental cars in Italy are Manual transmission and you typically need to specially reserve automatic transmission if that is your preference (though automatic is more available now than it was 10 years ago).

Question

Can I stay extra nights at Villa Lena?

Answer

Yes. You can book extra nights if you would like to stay longer. Please let us know on the booking form and we can connect you with the villa to organize. Prices vary based on seasonality and availability.

Question

What should I pack with me to Italy?

Answer

Lightweight clothing, formal attire, comfortable shoes, swimwear, sun protection, evening layers, travel adapters, personal essentials, reusable water bottle, and don't forget to pack your big energy and ready-to-party attitude!

Question

Where can I get food if I'm hungry between wedding events?

Answer

Villa Lena is a full service hotel with a bar and an award winning restaurant on site.

Question

What is the check-in/ check-out time at Villa Lena?

Answer

Check-in is at 3pm; check-out is at 11am. Villa Lena charges extra €200 to check out before 5pm.

Question

What activities are there at Villa Lena?

Answer

Villa Lena is a luxury retreat and art residence. Guests can sign up for sunrise yoga classes overlooking the stunning Tuscan countryside, as well as pasta-making, painting, and floristry classes (Villa Lena has its own flower farm). Enjoy wine tastings or spend the day relaxing by one of the two expansive pools. Nearby, you can also explore horseback riding, biking and hiking trails.

Question

Is there public transportation to get to Villa Lena from the airports or train station?

Answer

We encourage guests to rent a car with friends and family and see the Italian countryside together. There are no direct train routes to Villa Lena, the closest train station is in Pontedera, about 30 minutes away. Villa Lena's reception can certainly help you to arrange a transfer from the airport, train station or another location within Italy. Please contact reception to discuss your requirements and they can obtain a quote. e-mail: host@villa-lena.it

Question

Will there be a shuttle to pick me up from my hotel to Villa Lena if I stay off-site?

Question

When should I RSVP by?
