Kaitlyn and Benjamin met at the Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville, watching "Alice Through the Looking Glass" with a mutual friend. Kaitlyn never said a word to Ben the whole time, and quite frankly, pretended not to like him. This didn't deter Ben from her, and he pursued a friendship. In the following days, they got very close to one another. They both realized they had a connection and feelings for one another, and on June 21st, 2016, they made their relationship official. They stayed together all throughout high school. Their love for each other blossomed into a great relationship filled with laughter and love. Now, after many years of growing together, the two are finally ready to tie the knot on their 9th anniversary!
