Things To Do

We are so excited you are joining us in The City of Brotherly Love for our wedding! Here are some of our favorite spots and classic Philadelphia staples if you are in town and looking for some fun things to do! Everything is just a short walk or drive away from where we will be in the city!

Penn's Landing

101 South Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19106

This is where we had our first official date! We went ice skating at the RiverRink during WinterFest. Being a hockey player, it was Jimmy's idea to go ice skating. We wouldn't categorize what Nicole did as ice skating though because she spent more time falling on the ice than being upright. LOL

Parc

227 South 18th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103
, 215-545-2262

One of our favorite restaurants in the city! We even took engagement pictures here! They have the absolute BEST french onion soup you'll ever eat and the best desserts! It is usually very busy so reservations are recommended.

Reading Terminal Market

1136 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107

Explore Philly's oldest Public Market with over 75 family owned businesses providing local produce, meats, poultry, seafood, cheeses, baked goods, confections, an array of freshly prepared foods and gifts. It is just a short walk away from the Loews Hotel. Some of our favorites include Uncle Gus’ Steaks, DiNic’s, Miller’s Twist, and Termini Brothers Bakery.

Philadelphia City Hall

1400 John F Kennedy Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19107

If you want to take in some of the classic Philadelphia landmarks, City Hall is within walking distance of the hotel and a classic Philly staple on Broad Street!

JFK Plaza (Love Park)

Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102

Another iconic Philadelphia landmark! After checking out City Hall, take a walk across the street to take a picture with the famous LOVE statue!

One Independence Mall

615 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106

Three Philadelphia landmarks in one, all around the corner from Union Trust and Hotel Monaco! Take a tour through Independence Hall where you can see the exact room the Declaration on Independence was signed and then walk over to snap a picture of the Liberty Bell! Check out the website to see if you'll need tickets! When you're all done, check out The President’s House, home to both George Washington and John Adams, when Philadelphia was the capital of the United States from 1790 to 1800!
