If we're being honest, 'How We Met' is the most boring part of our story. We met at a party Ian and his friends were having at their apartment, and I went along with my roommate so she didn't have to go alone. Putting everything into perspective though, I would be lying to you if I told you 'Love at First Sight' is a bunch of malarky, because boy were we proven wrong that night. We both instantly felt a connection, but dismissed it for years. Instead, we formed a solid friendship built off of a foundation of extreme competitiveness when it came to drinking games. I was good, he didn't want to admit it, and thus the rivalry was born. I mean friendship... Anyway, for years this went on and our friendship only grew stronger. We both grew in our own way: Ian moving to Africa and myself moving to New York. That initial spark was always there, but we were both too chicken to admit it. Until, one night, while back in the States, Ian finally had the courage to tell me how he really felt and I finally let loose all of the feelings that I had bottled up for years. Don't be fooled, the rivalry is still alive and well. But I have to admit... we're both the winners of this game.
