What’s the dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional. We will be having a catholic church ceremony so please dress accordingly. However, we want you to feel comfortable. So if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose at the reception.

What is an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. This means no phones, cameras, iPads etc. being used during the wedding ceremony. We have hired excellent photographers and videographers and would hate to see a huge iPad blocking the view of our hired professionals. So we kindly ask you to please leave your phones, cameras, iPads etc. in the car during the ceremony.

Are kids invited?

Answer

If their name is on the invitation or it says “family,” then yes.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online? When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please mail back your RSVPs to the address written on the given envelope. You may RSVP online but it is not required. Please RSVP by September 1st.

What time should I arrive for the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 2:30pm to get seated comfortably. Please arrive no later than 2:45pm. The ceremony will start at 3:00pm sharp. If you are not seated by 3:00pm, you must wait outside of the church until the procession has finished.

How do I get to the ceremony at St. Leo Benedictine Abbey?

Answer

Enter Saint Leo University and take the second exit at the roundabout. Continue all the way down to the parking lot in front of the church. No decals are required for parking on the day of the wedding.

How do I get to the reception at Covington Farm?

Answer

Following the ceremony, please exit Saint Leo University the way you came in and make a left onto State Road 52. Continue until you get to Prospect Rd. and make a right. Then make the first left hand turn onto Clinton Rd. Continue until you get to Fort King Rd. and make a right. Continue on this road until after the big hill you will see Covington Rd on the right, a dirt road. Continue on the dirt road until you reach the end and park in the designated spot, someone will be available to transport you to cocktail hour.

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place indoors. Cocktail hour will be taking place outside, please bring a shawl or light sweater if you get cold easily. This is November in Florida, the weather may vary so please check the weather the day of. The reception will be taking place indoors.
