Question

What should you wear?!

Answer

Indian weddings traditionally have multiple events. For the morning ceremony it's best to stay away from white (mourning), black (inauspicious), and red (bridal). Please don't feel obligated to wear a saree (women), lehenga (women), or kurta (men). If wearing traditional western attire, it's best to keep in modest. The American ceremony will take place in the evening. Please wear whatever you feel fabulous in with a modest taste. On Friday, there will be a Mehendi party. This event is held during the day, associated with bright colors. Often the dress code is green, as this is the color of the Mehendi. We will be having welcome drinks on Saturday (out of state and wedding party guests). This will be located at Rustler's Roost, located at the top of the hill just south of the resort. There is a shuttle so no need to drive or walk. This is a western style steak house. Jeans are ok! If you have any other questions, please reach out to us!
