Seattle Center
Take a trip to the top of the Space Needle. Visit the Chihuly Glass Museum. Picnic on the lawn at the International Fountain. Grab a cup coffee while you listen to live radio at KEXP.

In Capitol Hill, enjoy a frozen treat at Molly Moon's Ice Cream, snuggle a kitty with your coffee at Neko Cat Cafe, or sip on bespoke cocktails at Canon Whiskey Bar. In Ballard/Fremont, watch the boats come and go at the Ballard Locks, find the Fremont Troll, eat some oysters on the halfshell at The Walrus & The Carpenter, take a tour of Theo Chocolate, or sip on a pint at one of the many local breweries. In West Seattle, spend an afternoon at Alki Beach for a change of pace. Stick your toes in the sand, watch the ferries float on by, and watch the sun set over the Puget Sound.
Around the Outskirts of Seattle:
In Issaquah, visit the local salmon hatchery, taste free samples at Fortunato Chocolate, or enjoy our favorite local cheeseburger at Jak's Steakhouse. In Woodinville, remember to hydrate at any of the numerous wine cellars, distilleries, meaderies, and breweries. In Snoqualmie, take a path paved for all ages down to the gorgeous 268-foot Snoqualmie Falls. On Bainbridge Island, have a liesurely stroll around town, hike through the manicured gardens of Bloedel Reserve, and enjoy breathtaking vistas of the Seattle skyline on the quick ferry there and back.

Drive to Anacortes to spend a day out whale-watching among the San Juan Islands with Island Adventures. Rediscover nature at Mount Rainier National Park, a stratovolcano whose prominence dominates the entire region, or Olympic National Park, where you can hike glacial peaks, traipse through temperate rainforests, or walk sandy beaches within a few short miles of each other. Take a drive to Leavenworth, a Bavarian-styled village tucked in the beauty of the Cascade Mountains, where you can eat all the bratwurst, pretzel, and schnitzel you can handle.
