Star Wars day. Ashley was working while Andrew was prepping the apartment with lights, balloons, and sarcastically sweet notes lining the hallway. On her way home, Ashley texted Andrew and his anticipation grew. Eliciting the help of a reliable friend he said, "Alexa, play 'All of Me' by John Legend on Spotify." At the time the song started to replay for the 4th time and he wondered, "WTF is she doing??", Ashley was concluding a 20-minute internal deliberation narrowing down beer choices from Natty Boh to Flying Dog to Sam Adams at the liquor store downstairs from the apartment. After finally deciding on the Rebel Juiced IPA (swirling with ripe aromas of mango and tropical fruits), she opened the apartment door in complete shock at the sight of Andrew dressed up in something other than joggers holding a bouquet of balloons and a ring box.
