We're Getting Married!

If you ask Meritt, he'll say they met at a college party while he was in town visiting his best friends, but if we ask Deedee (aka the truth) she'll let you know they met in a what could of been a teen movie: on spring break Deedee's friend brought her and Meritt's friend brought him on a spring break trip. A week of laughter, games and getting to know each other blossomed their relationship.

On a Europe vacation of a lifetime, Deedee and Meritt visited the Palace of Versaille in France. Since her time studying abroad, it'd been one of her favorite places in the world and couldn't wait to share it with Meritt. Little did she know, she'd lead him right to her favorite retreat in Marie Antoinette's gardens under the Temple of Love and have a memory of a lifetime. She went in for a photo with him and he reached into his pocket for the ring. She turned towards him and he was down on one knee. Only 10 words needed to seal their forever "I love you so much, will you marry me?" and of course "YES" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Texas
