Answer

Check out the camp for yourself by visiting www.redpinecamp.org

Question

How can I send a gift?

Answer

We have all the things we need for our home but if you would like to contribute to our honeymoon, you may do so by e-transferring us at deeandjosh2020@gmail.com. Thank you!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We understand it is difficult to plan anything these days, but please let us know your plans and book your accommodation by May 31, 2022.

Question

How can I book my cabin?

Answer

Refer to the "Booking and Accommodation" page for details

Question

Will I have my own cabin?

Answer

Yes, each guest or group will have their own private cabin with enough beds so everyone can sleep on a lower bunk.

Question

Do I need to bring my own bedding?

Answer

Yes! You will need to pack your own pillow, sheets, and blanket/sleeping bag for a single bunk. Weather in September can be variable, so check beforehand and pack accordingly.

Question

What should I bring to camp?

Answer

Great question! Check out our "What to Bring" page. Also, here is a link to Red Pine's suggested packing list: https://bit.ly/36mxEad

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

It may be summer camp, but let's dress up! Our ceremony and reception are black-tie optional. That means gentlemen can dust off that favourite tux if you so desire and ladies, wear whatever dress makes you feel fabulous. The campgrounds are uneven, so short chunky heels or flats are highly recommended. Outside of the ceremony and reception, feel free to wear your best camp-chic attire.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invite says "and Guest", then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your weekend off! If you're unable to find a babysitter or need your little one(s) with you, give us a shout to discuss!

Question

I have a question. How do I contact Dee or Josh?

Answer

Call/text us at 647 406 3956 (Dee) or 647 960 1414 (Josh) or email us at deeandjosh2020@gmail.com.

Question

I'd prefer to send a cheque for my accommodation at Red Pine. Where do I mail it to?

Answer

No problem! Please make the cheque out to Deirdre Finn or Joshua Palmer and mail it to 2450 Turner Street, Vancouver, BC, Canada, V5K 2E6.

Question

Does my cabin have its own bathroom and shower?

Answer

No, but there are men/women's bathrooms and showers located throughout camp that will be cleaned and sanitized regularly.

Question

How do I send an Interac e-transfer?

Answer

Every banking institution is a bit different, but you generally begin by logging into your online banking and selecting "Interac e-transfer". From there you add a new "Payee" or "Recipient" by entering a first and last name and an email address. In this case, please use first/last name: Deirdre Finn & email address: bookredpine@gmail.com. Once you've added a new payee/recipient, enter the $ amount you'd like to send (ie. $40 if just you for 1 night; $160 if 2 people for 2 nights). We have autodeposit enabled so no security question is required. If you're unsure, call your bank for detailed instructions or simply send us a cheque in the mail.

Question

Will I get my own cabin?

Answer

The camp has 40+ cabins, so there's lots of space to accommodate everyone. Larger cabins have up to four rooms with connecting doors which can be locked on either side for privacy. Your party will be assigned its own cabin or a private "room" of a cabin, so not to worry. You will only share a room with others outside your immediate party if you request it. Otherwise, you may be sharing a wall with other cabin mates, but you'll have your own space. Also, each cabin has a picnic table in front of it for you to setup shop and relax! Refer to the "Photos of Camp" page for more information.
