FAQs

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, we really do! However we respectfully request no little ones on this night, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. We hope you take this as an opportunity to enjoy a fun date night!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

While there’s no strict dress code, we’d love for our family and friends to dress up and celebrate with us in style! Cocktail attire is encouraged. (Just a heads up: the bridesmaids will be wearing moss green.)

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your guest’s name is listed on your invite and when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we want to keep our wedding as intimate as possible and are only inviting our closest loved ones.

Question

Will there be an Open Bar?

Answer

We’ll be offering complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks, and water throughout the evening. A cash bar will also be available for additional beverage options.

Question

What gift should I bring?

Answer

The greatest gift is having you with us. But if you'd like to help shape our future together, a financial contribution towards our honeymoon, new home, or savings would be greatly appreciated. We have a honeymoon fund on this site for those who wish to contribute, or you can explore our registry if you'd prefer to gift us something special.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

There will be ample parking available on-site for all guests. Since the ceremony and reception are at the same location, you won’t need to move your car once you arrive. We encourage carpooling or using a ride share service like Uber for convenience. If you end up enjoying the evening a little too much (as we hope you will!), you’re more than welcome to leave your car overnight and grab a ride home safely.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:30 pm. We recommend arriving at 20-30 minutes before the start time of the ceremony. So no later than 4:10 pm. That way you have ample time to park, and take a seat before we begin. So you can enjoy all the moments of the wedding!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors on the patio. October evenings can bring a bit of a chill, so we recommend bringing a jacket—or even a cozy blanket—just in case the breeze picks up. The reception will follow indoors at the same venue.

Question

Will there be a DJ and dancing?

Answer

Oh definitely, we’re all for dancing - but barefoot twirls and subtle head-bobs are welcome too. Come for the love, stay for the questionable dance moves.

Question

What type of food will there be?

Answer

We will have a brief break between the ceremony and reception, during which light refreshments and snacks will be available. Dinner will be served shortly after the reception begins.
