We got Married!

We first met in 2020 when Sarah and her Mother volunteered for the Community Emergency Response Team at West Point Fire Station where Michael was working as a Captain. Michael was dating someone else at the time and payed little attention to Sarah, much to her dismay...fast forward to 2023, Sarah is back in the Bay area and receives a mysterious DM on FB from Michael Mitchell (who is now single and available). Sarah's reaction, 'are you sure you're texting the right Sarah?'. She honestly didn't know that Michael knew she existed, but he did. They kept in touch for the next several months and later that year when Sarah's mother was going through a slew of surgeries and complications a 911 call was placed at 2 in the morning and who should show up, but Michael Mitchell like a knight in shinning armor with a big red engine. Michael called several times after that to check on Mrs DeCoux's condition and see how everyone was holding up and when she was out of the hospital a first date was set-up, November 19th 2023... we dated long distance for about 6 months and the rest is basically history.
