Our story began in the most unexpected way. Grace had no idea that when she met Declan, he would become her best friend, fiancé, and the love of her life. Ever since she was thirteen, Grace has always said she wanted to play lacrosse and meet her husband in Pennsylvania. Slowly, her dreams started to become a reality. She moved to Pennsylvania to play lacrosse for Shippensburg University, and it was there, during her sophomore year, that she met Declan at their apartment complex. Right away, sparks flew between them. They spent the entire night talking, staying up until 6 AM. It was during that conversation that Declan shared his dream of living in Colorado one day. From that moment on, they were inseparable. On September 15th, 2023, Declan asked Grace to be his girlfriend. After many months filled with romantic dates and shared adventures, they decided to take the next step in their relationship and move to Colorado to begin building a life together. Their summer in Colorado was filled with fun, laughter, and excitement. By late July, Declan began looking at engagement rings because he knew, without a doubt, that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Grace. Fast forward to September, Declan took Grace to Chautauqua Park. There, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Of course, Grace said yes. Now, we are both excited for the next chapter in our story.
