After passing each other for two years at school, we officially met at a cyber conference in Tel Aviv, Israel. Neither of us planned to meet anyone that summer, but a bartender with an eagle neck tattoo and a late-night swim proved very convincing. What started as a summer fling, grew into something much deeper. We had to keep our relationship hush hush for a while, but good news travels fast... We traveled halfway around the world just to fall in love with someone that lived down the hall.
On a Christmas trip to The Netherlands, after walking around Amsterdam for hours, Hannah's feet hurt. She also didn't understand how someone with Google Maps could make so many wrong turns. We eventually crossed over a charming bridge, Dylan let go of her hand, Hannah turned — and he was down on one knee. That day was the most organized and thought-out day of Dylan's entire life. He had it down to the minute so we would be on the bridge at the perfect moment. Turns out, Dylan was far too excited to ask Hannah to marry him and walked too fast to her feet’s dismay. We both must have blacked out because neither of us can remember what was said through the laughter and the tears, but we were engaged! All we know is that we would pay all the money in the world to relive that day. We cannot wait to spend the next chapter of our lives with all of you. See you in Italy!
