Scott and Sarah actually went to the same high school and never knew each other. Years after they both graduated high school, and were 21, Sarah and her friends, and Scott and his friends went to Roosevelt's in Bethlehem for dancing. Sarah knew the owner of the bar and was provided complimentary drinks upon arrival with her friends. She then wanted to dance! Sarah saw Scott from afar with his friends and knew Scott was the one she wanted to dance with. Sarah asked Scott to dance and he politely turned her down. While Sarah took it as a rejection, Scott was trying to be polite and a gentleman as Sarah had a few more drinks than he did. A few days later, Sarah still kept thinking of that "jacked boy in the corner," who turned her down. Low and behold, Sarah's friend’s sister knew Scott. Sarah and Scott were then connected on social media and went on a few breakfast dates to get to know each other. While both Sarah and Scott enjoyed each other, Sarah was living in Massachusetts and didn’t want to commit to a long term, long distance relationship. A year of casual dates later, Sarah and Scott became closer. One evening after an getting home from Iron Pigs Game with her parents, Scott asked Sarah to "officially" be his girlfriend, even though she was sicker than a dog, in sweats and a hoodie-if that's not true love, we don't know what is. Six years of travel and adventure later, Scott and Sarah's parents threw her a surprise 30th birthday in July. While she was shocked alone at the party, especially during COVID times, Scott yet again surprised Sarah by walking out and getting down on one knee in front of all their closest family and friends. While this journey so far has been amazing, the best has yet to come. We both cannot wait to have you join us on the next journey, our wedding day!
