Frequently Asked Questions
Question

What time should I plan to arrive to the wedding?

Answer

To ensure you arrive on time, we recommend allowing extra time for parking, walking to the entrance, and heading upstairs to the Ceremony location. The ceremony begins promptly at 5pm, so aim to arrive to the entrance by 4:30pm. Please allow at least 15 minutes for parking, as the area can be busy with tourists during peak summer season. This will give everyone time to arrive, board and get seated without feeling rushed.

Question

Where should I park my car?

Answer

The County Administrative building underground parking garage is open to the public on weekends. It is located directly across the street from the wedding venue. There is only one entrance/exit on Ash Street at N. Harbor Drive. Approx. rates range from $15-$20 flat thru midnight. Special events may affect rates. Little Italy Parking garage - located at Cedar & Kettner - Approx. rates are $5 per hour up to $20 max. Special events may affect rates. https://maps.app.goo.gl/hv5VnRFUbEQT3TSo7 Please consider using Uber or Lyft to and from the wedding if that can work for you.

Question

Where is the guest entrance to the wedding?

Answer

When you arrive to the main entrance for the Maritime Museum, there will be an agent there to check you in and instruct you where to go. The wedding will take place on the 2nd floor of the Berkeley Ferryboat. The Berkeley is run by the Maritime Museum located on the first floor.

Question

Is there an elevator or lift available?

Answer

YES. If you need assistance or have difficulty with stairs, a small lift is available to the left as you enter. It fits 1-2 people and is self-operated. The wedding will be on the second floor.
