As time goes on, timelines tend to get skewed, and memories cease to exist, however one thing is for sure, Sean remembers when he had seen Brittany for the first time. A group of his friends had gone out on the town one occasion when Sean was unable to attend. Pictures had been taken during this excursion and Sean realized he noticed someone who was not apart of the known group and asked who this person was. A couple of Sean's friends soon realized why exactly he was asking, and before he realized it, a blind meeting was setup. Sean met Brittany during another outing which he soon realized was not just with a few friends but with the person who was ultimately going to be his wife, unbeknownst to either of them. It was typical for Sean to not say anything and be extremely quite and shy when meeting someone who he is unfamiliar with, so as to gauge the person and get a feel for how to approach so as to not make a fool of himself. Sean and Brittany's mutual friends kept putting them in situations where they would be hanging out and before long Sean gained the confidence to ask Brittany if she would like to take a drive with him sometime to one of his favorite spots. Sean picked up Brittany and drove to the cliffs of Point Mugu to over look the ocean in the back of his truck. It was then their attraction for each other reached it's peak and they knew they liked each other, so much so Brittany got scared and moved 1100 miles away back to Loveland, CO to go back to school of course. It was not long before Sean had a plane ticket out to Colorado to see her. Their story blossomed from there, and through trials and tribulations from life getting in the way, they persevered, and almost ten years later, they are finally tying the knot, and they speak for everyone when they say... it's about damn time.
Sean and Brittany are known Disney lovers, major shock, I know. As of 2016 they had been together six years, and they both were in the midst of life experiences from career changes, and career beginnings. After landing at a dream company with Disney, Sean finally found that the time was right to pop the question. He had spent a good year or so attempting to come up with ways to ask the question, all of which were falling through. He realized that he was going about it all wrong, and attempting to do things that were not necessarily them. During a birthday outing for Brittany's Grandmother, whom Brittany was unable to attend, Sean found the opportune moment to get the permission from Brittany's parents, as well as Brittany's beloved Grandmother who got to know and see the ring before anyone. The blessings were bestowed, and Sean finally found the perfect way to ask Brittany. Every time they visit the Disneyland theme park, Sean makes it a tradition to take a picture with his favorite character, Tigger. It quickly became a tradition that Sean feels Brittany is just slowly starting to humor. After multiple vacations and opportunities for Sean to propose, Brittany was starting to give up hope on when he would actually ask the question. On the 16th day in January of 2016, Sean treated Brittany to what she would think was just another trip to Disneyland. However, it was on that day Sean had a plan to propose to Brittany that was quickly realized as a way to ask her that screamed, them. Sean quickly invited two friends unbeknownst to Brittany to the park to help pop the question. As Sean used an excuse to go to a locker and get something for Brittany, he met up with their friends, he told them the plan and that they had fast passes to a ride to which they had ample time to sneak away and prepare the Disneyland cast members for what was going to take place.
Once Sean and Brittany exited Space Mountain, they were greeted by their friends to Brittany's surprise, at which point Sean asked if they could all go and get a picture with Tigger, and to Brittany's dismay, she obliged. A longer line than usual had Brittany getting antsy and asking Sean "why we needed another picture with Tigger", Sean and their friends persisted Brittany to stick it out and as they got to the front of the line the cast members gave Sean a subtle glance that let Sean know they were expecting him. Sean and Brittany stepped up to get their picture with Tigger and their friends had cameras rolling. Sean took one look at Tigger toward the end of the photo session and asked "Tigger, do you mind if I ask my girlfriend a question?", Tigger sauntered over to the side and before she realized what was happening Sean was down on one knee, and Brittany was in a panic. There were so many times that she was actually expecting this, and this day was not one of those times. Sean had officially surprised Brittany. Sean attempted to get some kind words out, but the crowd, who were so patient once they realized what was happening, were already congratulating them, and Sean's words could not be heard, so Brittany quickly said "Yes" with a head nod, and they were engaged. They spent years getting a picture with Tigger, and now they have the ultimate photo session with Tigger, and actual proof that Brittany said "yes" to spending the rest of her life with Sean.
