Some things just go better together

Everyone always says “timing is everything.” That couldn’t be more true when it comes to us. We both met at a time in our lives when we were so ready for our epic love stories. I had just gone through a rollercoaster of a year - Patriots journey coming to an end, focusing on myself, traveling, working like crazy, saving money, and figuring out what made me happy in life. Little did I know, it would lead me right into the arms of my soulmate. I was waitressing at The Stand part-time and I waited on Kyle and his friends one night. He tried to make jokes and sound cool, which somehow worked on me! He moved over to the bar to hangout (with our good friend Mladen) and I had clocked out and done the same. We got to chatting for what felt like hours and talked all about our favorite things… mostly country music and sushi. I was so giddy that week thinking about this awesome, funny guy who seemed to be so similar to me. A week later, we bumped into each other again at The Stand and the rest is history. He took me out for sushi at Miso a couple days later and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Kyle moved in shortly after when the Covid pandemic hit and the whole world went into lockdown. We figured we’re having so much fun together, why not do it everyday? With so much free time, we started going on walks everyday, doing home workouts together, lots of cooking and cocktail making, and even adopted our fur baby, Sully. It sounds cheesy, but everything seemed to fit right into place and it felt like it was always supposed to be this way. And now I can’t imagine how I ever lived without him. 5+ years later and life just keeps getting better and better. And now we get to spend the rest of our lives together!
