Ben and Brooke first connected while working together at UW Hospital and soon began running together after work. Before starting graduate school, Ben embarked on an epic adventure across the West, and Brooke joined him in Boulder, Colorado—where Ben asked her to be his girlfriend atop Bear Peak over PBJs. The couple completed graduate school during COVID while living in Milwaukee, and after graduation, they took the leap to start a new chapter in Salt Lake City, Utah, where they now happily call home.
