we got married on May 8, 2020!!

Noah and Debrianna were placed on a traveling summer worship team called From the Vine. Debrianna was Noah's co-pilot all summer long and it was over the course of these three months where they fell in love..the first time. As they got back to school, things didn't go as planned (thats the nice way to put it, haha). After a difficult parting, Debrianna and Noah had a conversation about redemption- how God brings all things, even failed, broken relationships, to redemption. Fast-forward to the Spring of 2018 when Debrianna commented on an instagram story Noah posted. This turned into catching up, texting, calling, and eventually Noah wanting to pursue love once again. Noah and Debrianna began to explore relationship once again until Debrianna was accepted to an art intensive in NC, and the distance made it impossible for her! They went their separate ways once again. When Deb returned to Oregon from North Carolina, Noah flew up to Beaverton, OR and they met up for coffee. It was here where they committed to building friendship and friendship only. But in February of 2019, Deb wanted to see if there was anything more between them. She called Noah as she was visiting OC and asked if he would hang out with her on a Monday morning, at 5am, and he would have to bring her to the airport...He said yes! She asked again for her next visit, but her flight was canceled and they spent the whole day together and found there was so much love to be explored. About a month later, countless hours on the phone, and some amazing Valentines gifts, Noah surprised Debrianna at her apartment in Oregon, and asked her to be his girlfriend on March 4. Noah and Deb fell in love even with all the distance and obstacles in between them. 8 months later, they got engaged as they confidently walked in the choice of covenant and hope for their life together. Their story is one of God's kindness and redemption. They know this is the mark they get to cary as a couple into the world together!
