We’re getting married!!!

In the unlikeliest of places, during a time when the world was just starting to reopen, fate had its plans. It was the era of masks and social distancing, but even that couldn’t stop destiny from stepping in. One day, a shopping trip took me to the Deptford Mall—a bit out of my usual territory. Focused on my list and unfamiliar surroundings, I accidentally walked straight into a table at Macy’s. Embarrassed, I looked up, only to be met with the warmest smile and a chuckle. He asked if I was okay, and with a few exchanged words, something sparked. As we wandered the mall, both heading toward Bed Bath & Beyond, he joked, “I promise I’m not following you.” His humor made me blush, and what started as a casual encounter felt like the beginning of something extraordinary. It seemed the universe agreed. A store clerk, unaware of our recent introduction, smiled at us and said, “You two make a beautiful couple. How long have you been together?” We laughed, thinking the other had somehow staged the moment. That serendipitous meeting turned into four incredible years of love, laughter, and adventure. Every step of the way, we’ve chosen each other, building a bond that grows stronger with time.
