Answer

The Eugene Airport (EUG) is the easiest and closest by far to fly into. Its very small and hassle free. It is probably the easiest to fly out of and into in the U.S. It is about a one hour drive from our place (head towards the coast). Answer

You may wear a costume or accessories that fit into a magical harvest forest River Theme. This would include dressing like a fairy tale characters, goddess, mythical creature, either from a book, movie, or one you make up. Be creative, colorful, express yourself while fitting into our theme of mystical moonlit forest magic. You can dress up, or down - for example men can wear Antlers, viking hats, or dress like a forester. Women - be sparkly, wild and let your inner beauty shine outward!

The best way to get to and from the Eugene airport is to rent a car at the Eugene Airpot. You will need a car to get from your hotel in Florence to our place in Mapleton. While its only about a 15 minute boat ride, you have to drive around the whole island so it can take about 30 minutes to drive from Florence to our house and a little over an hour from the airport to our house or from the airport in Eugene to Florence. Arrive around 4 pm. There will be a host bar and lots of Hors d'oeuvres. Dinner: 6:00 pmish Full Moon Wedding Ceremony: 8:00 pm (possibly on Duncan Island Bridge under the Moonlight - if its raining we will have to do indoors)

Of course! We have lots of room and will have extra cots so if you'd like to just stay over night bring your overnight bag (or borrow stuff from us) and you can either sleep on a sofa, on a cot, inside the house or in a tent. Might not have a lot of privacy but you'll be warm and cozy!

Answer

Of course! You can bring a romantic partner, friend, children (adult or kids). Just please RSVP when you know here on the site but if the system doesn't let you contact debra at debrakatz@yahoo.com, but we will have extra food if you think of bringing someone at the last minute.

If you'd like to bring a pet that's fine too but we ask that your pet be able to be around other pets, people and will be OK being secured outside if things get too hectic inside. (no jumping dogs please). We might have a fenced dog run by then at our house but right now we do not, so check back in.

We are still working out details. We will need help with a variety of tasks the day before and possibly during but we won't ask our volunteers to do anything that would prevent them from enjoying most of the wedding. If you are someone who likes to be busy while socializing too, feel free to volunteer by checking in with Debra.
