We first met in church in 2020. Yemi came as an invited guest minister and I and my twin sister were also invited to minister at the same church, we took pictures that day and that was it, fast forward 2022 I got invited to join the praise team for the annual rccg convention “Light up Dallas” and Yemi also got the invite. We met at rehearsal and I remember that day we were sitting next to each other, he offer to get my seat and he just seemed so kind. I didn’t go for the final rehearsal but on the day of light up Dallas I noticed a shift in his attitude (he said the day I didn’t come for rehearsal he felt something was missing lol) we were in the green room he kept coming to talk to me and my twin sister frequently, I just thought he was being friendly, (my twin sister got married 2 months prior) he was like since you are not married Will you marry me? I just laughed because I knew He was just joking at the time. Three Months later we officially started dating we grew in love with each other and 1year and 3months after dating he planned a surprise party and asked me the same question and this time I had the right answer. I am grateful that my part aligned with God and he Led me straight to you.
