We're Getting Hitched

We were friends for 5 years while working at Cowboy Country. New Year's Eve 2013 we were both Stag for our CC NYE Party. In a group of friends we joked about not having someone for the NYE Kiss. I said to Kenny, "Don't worry, I will come up to the booth at Midnight and give you a Kiss on the Cheek." Midnight countdown came and up I went to the Helm and laid a big kiss on his cheek causing his ears to turn red. We have been by each other's side ever since.

It is NYE 2017 and we are in the Helm together ready to go downstairs to join the other club members during Kenny's Sound check break. I asked if he had to do his usual routine of being in the sound booth a few minutes before the countdown, so that I would know to be up to his booth for our 5th NYE Kiss together. He said, "Let's do something different this year." He got down on one knee and lifted my beautiful Ruby and Diamond Heart ring up and said, "Will you Marry Me?" I said, "Yes!" We were then approached by Cindy and Clyde where Cindy proceeded to pop a huge confetti gun into the air. We were greeted by many friends downstairs giving loving Congrats. Then Ken Littleton went to the DJ Booth and announced it to the whole club!!! Scott played a song for us as people clapped. It was a wonderful NYE. At midnight we gave our 5th NYE Kiss.
