Our Story
“And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”
Colossians 1:17
It is breathtaking to reflect on the truth that the providence which governs the greatest events in history also directs the details of our ordinary lives. It is fascinating to realize that the hands which sustain the universe, holding all things together in perfect harmony, are the same hands that sustain our hearts.
There is no way to begin our story without first acknowledging its Author. Before we had one another, we had Him; before we loved one another, we were deeply loved by Him; and before we belonged to each other, we belonged to Him.
And it is because we belong to Him that we understand that everything we are and everything we have built together did not begin with us, but in Him.
