We met at Garage Fishtown in 2018, just a few blocks from where we're getting married. Deblyn was training for a marathon, so Jeff asked her out for a run — 4 miles from Spring Garden to East Falls for pizza. We've been running together ever since. Through a pandemic, OT school, a few moves, and a lot of adventures, we built a life together in Fairmount. On August 2, 2025, Jeff proposed at Moon Lake State Park in NEPA, near his family's home at Lake Silkworth — a place full of memories for both of us. He proposed with his grandmother's engagement ring, which she gave him for Deblyn the night she passed away. Deblyn said yes. It was the best day ever. Until August 29.
