Answer: Our ceremony and reception will be held at The Palace in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The venue is known for its stunning views and beautiful setting, and we can’t wait to share it with all of you!
Answer: The wedding will be a semi-formal affair, with a beautiful destination setting. For the ceremony and reception, we recommend light, breathable clothing for the heat or dressy tropical attire. Please be sure to wear your brightest color. Don't forget comfortable shoes, as we’ll be outdoors and may walk on sand or grass!
Answer: Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. We are so grateful to have you celebrate with us! However, if you feel compelled to give, we would appreciate contributions to our honeymoon fund or on of our favorite charities (details provided on the Gift page).
Answer: The closest major airport to our venue is Montego Bay (Sangster International Airport - MBJ), which offers great flight options. There is also Ocho Rios (Ian Fleming International Airport - OCJ), but flights may be limited or more expensive. We recommend flying into Montego Bay and arranging transportation to the resort or ceremony venue (more details provided on the Travel page).
Answer: Guests staying a minimum of 4 nights at the resort are eligible for a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. For stays shorter than 4 nights, the shuttle service is available for a fee of $45. To arrange your shuttle, please contact the hotel at least 2 weeks in advance by emailing toursandtransfersjamaica@palaceresorts.com and be sure to copy Daniela Morales at Moon Palace Jamaica at danmorales@palaceresorts.com.
Answer: We welcome families and children at our wedding! Please feel free to bring your little ones. Some of the rooms offer Kids for Free! Please reach out to Linda for more information.
Answer: Jamaica is tropical and warm year-round, with temperatures ranging from 82°F to 90°F.. Expect sunshine, but it can rain occasionally, especially in the late afternoon or evening. Be sure to pack light, breathable clothing and sunscreen!
Answer: We want all of our guests to have a wonderful time and enjoy the celebration. If you have any dietary restrictions or special requests, please let us know ahead of time so we can make arrangements with the catering team.
Answer: Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes before the ceremony starts. This will give you time to get settled, enjoy a drink, and mingle with other guests before the ceremony begins.
Answer: Yes! We’ve planned some fun activities for you to enjoy during your time in Jamaica. There will be TBD before the wedding, and after the ceremony, we’ll have TBD. Check the Event Schedule page for more details!
Answer: While we’d love for you to be there, we completely understand if you’re unable to attend due to travel, time, or other commitments. Your love and support mean the world to us, and we’re grateful to have you in our lives, whether you can join us or not!
