We have been friends for more than 20 years, but we reconnected towards the end of 2016. John tried to teach me how to fly fish one Saturday in February 2017. I didn't catch a single fish the entire day, but caught a hint of something special that day. That day was the beginning of a beautiful journey I never want to get to the end of!

On a weekend trip to Idaho right before Thanksgiving, John and I took a drive around to check out the hot springs and streams nearby. We found one magical place where time seemed to stop. The only sound was the snow falling off the trees and melting into the river below. As we both stood there quietly taking it all in, I turned around and John was standing behind me with a ring in his hand and asked "Will you be my wife - will you marry me?" I couldn't say "YES" fast enough. We cannot wait to start this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Destin, FL!
