Gary is not only my Best Man but also my childhood friend and extended family. To understand our friendship, you have to remember the days we all played outside and came in when the streetlight was on. We would ride our bikes a mile or so to go hang out in the park, or outside on his block with other friends. We had many great times growing up, seeing many friends come and go yet regardless of how often our paths ebbed and flowed they always crossed again, and it's always felt like it was yesterday. Michael is our second oldest son, Amber’s husband, who's growing into a wonderful man and father to four of our beautiful grandchildren. Through his deep love and dedication to family he and Amber are helping to raise wonderful, loving kids that are helping to others and loving to family. He’s quick witted and playful with his children, teaching them to think quick on their feet and love with all of their hearts.

Thomas is our youngest son, Hunter’s husband, who is also growing into an amazing man and father to our youngest grandson, Andre. Thomas has a deep sense of love and caring for his family, sprinkled with a playful, funny and fun to be around spirit. His leadership and playful spirit open the imagination of Andre and will serve them all well into the future.

Aviana is our beautiful first-born granddaughter who's sweet, kind, and loves to make new friends. She would be the first to extend a hand to help or make someone feel comfortable. Her heart is pure, and intentions are always true. She will be a beacon of light to all in her circle of life.

Aylin is our second born granddaughter who's beautiful, sweet, kind, a bit sassy, loving and loves to make new friends. Oh, did I mention she's a cookie monster. Seriously hide those cookies! :-) She'll make you laugh like that comment and loves to dance or play games. Her energy is infectious, mischievous and also so pure it's bound to draw many into her circle of life as well.

Micah is our little spunky grandson who will greet you with a smile big enough to light up the state of Texas. He's curious, smart and gives the impression he'll try anything once. We see adventure and fun in Micah's future, mixed with the family love he has when playing with his parents, siblings and cousins. He loves the shows Cars, Blaze and Monster Machines. Watch out daddy! Following in your footsteps you'll probably have another car guy coming up. You'll have so much fun teaching him how to work on them.

Andre is our youngest grandson who also has a smile as big as Texas. He’s the sweetest boy who loves with his whole heart. He will greet each person in the room with a hug, then follow with a second hug for everyone, all while smiling and saying your names. He loves bubbles, watching Ms. Rachel and letting you know he knows his colors and numbers. He's inquisitive and a quick learner who enjoys play time with all of his family.

Jacq is our oldest son who walked into MCRD a young kid looking for a future and walked out a United States Marine. His journey has taken him to many places to fulfil many duties. His journey has faced him with many challenges, brought many opportunities, provided many successes and shared a few losses. He is now a decorated Marine, stationed in Okinawa, Japan with 22 years of dedicated service to our country who has grown into a man capable of holding his own in any conversation, on any platform in life. His love for family brings him home often and keeps him grounded. Jacq is my first born and our love is deep. My son, my best friend, I'm very proud of you! I see you and love you. Thank you for being a big part of my life, and now our lives.
