Wedding chic - just be comfortable and be ready for some serious dancing! Please bear in mind the temperamental Scottish weather and bring umbrellas and a jacket just in case, or sunglasses and suncream for those feeling optimistic! For those staying on site, wellies are advised in case of bad weather!
If you have a question and we haven't answered it on the website for you, please get in touch (contact details at the top of this page) and we will help! We will be updating the FAQ section regularly as we get questions from guests so check back every so often. Nearer the time we will be adding a lot more info relating to the big day
We are having an unplugged ceremony so would kindly ask for no photos to be taken during our wedding ceremony. Just sit back and relax and enjoy the ceremony and let our wonderful photographer capture it!
Our wedding ceremony begins at 2pm so please arrive before that to give you time to find a seat before the bride arrives! For those arriving by shuttle bus we will send out details of arrangements a week before the wedding on timings. And as everyone knows - this bride is rarely late for anything!
Your presence is present enough - we understand a lot of people are travelling to be a part of our wedding so we do not expect any gifts! However, if you would like to contribute to our happily ever after fund we would greatly appreciate money which we are going to put toward things for the house (once renovated) and towards our honeymoon which we hope to take later in the year!
Yes we would love you to share our photos and happy for you to do at any time! Please use our wedding hashtag #meettheplaters so we can see everything!
