Check out Boyne City's annual morel mushroom festival if you have the time! Morel mushroom hunting is one of our favorite activities in the spring. At the festival you'll find food trucks, morel mushroom dish taste testing, carnival games and rides, music, a craft show, and more!
This is the BEST French bakery! We are so lucky to have this in Boyne City! Gilda's is best known for their crepes, and we LOVE their croissants and assortment of French pastries. You do not want to miss this bakery while you are in town....trust us!!
The cutest local coffee shop. The bride will be ordering an oat milk lavender latte Saturday morning! :)
Stop here to stock up on your weekend snacks and drinks! Provisions offers premium beverages, a large variety of build-your-own beer packs, and amazing soups and sandwiches in the deli. (If you're lucky, you might meet the groom's sister-in-law, Kayla!)
The groom works here! Smokehouse food with amazing views of Walloon Lake. Pop in for anything from breakfast to dinner, just remember to bring your appetites on Saturday! I hear the bartenders are easy on the eyes here, too... ;)
Need a little R&R? Treat yourself to a day pass at the spa. We love the sauna and steam rooms here! Note: sauna/steam rooms are separated by mens & womens, so if you're planning to spend that time with your hunny, then you might decide to use the hotel's larger outdoor pool and hot tubs instead. Food and drink service is offered at both!
The bride works here! Stop in and treat yourself to a salon or spa service with one of the many amazing team members at Vogue. You won't regret it!
If you're up for a scenic drive, check out Pond Hill Farms, located at the beginning of the iconic tunnel of trees drive. Woodfired pizzas, farm fresh food options, farm crafted beer/wine/cider, home to goats, pigs, and other adorable farm animals, an indoor market, and miles of trails that wind throughout the property through the woods, across streams, and over the vineyard hills that look out onto Lake Michigan. This place is magical and well worth the visit.
