What will the weather be like?

Melbourne is known for its temperamental weather and September is no exception! We've ambitiously decided on a beach-side wedding with easy access to St Kilda beach in case the weather decides to cooperate, but the wedding events will all be held indoors. For those travelling from overseas, we'd recommend bringing a warm layer (e.g., jacket/coat).

Is there parking nearby?

Answer

There is a secure underground car park located directly under St Kilda Sea Baths, where Captain Baxter is located (www.carepark.com.au/find-a-care-park/st-kilda-sea-baths). There is also a parking lot located directly in front of St Kilda Sea Baths and along Jacka Boulevard.

How do I get there by public transport?

Answer

Captain Baxter is a short walk from the tram stop. If travelling from Flinders Street Station, take Tram 16 (towards St Kilda Beach). If travelling from Southern Cross Station, take Tram 96 (towards St Kilda Beach). Get off at Stop 136 (Alfred Square/The Esplanade), then it's a 4 minute walk to the venue.
