While high school and college sweet hearts are still a thing, modern day dating often comes from online dating or dating apps. After living parallel lives, Eric and Deb swiped for each other on "Hinge" in November of 2022. Hinge's tagline is the "app designed to be deleted." After endless conversation on the app, Eric and Deb exchanged phone numbers and texted each other nonstop. They said "Goodbye" to Hinge! While the pair had dinner plans for their first date, Eric spontaneously asked Deb to meet her at Dick's Sporting Goods for shin guards as he was playing in his first co-ed soccer recreation league. When they first locked eyes Deb thought Eric had perennial All-star potential and Eric thought Deb was the cornerstone "ace" to start the family franchise around. After a 45 minute walk and talk around the sporting goods store, Eric and Deb said their goodbyes in the parking lot but not before Deb asked "Are we still on for dinner tomorrow?" Fast forward almost 2 years from when Eric and Deb met... The Proposal: November 2024. ✨11/11/2024✨ A very special Veterans Day that Eric and Deb would not ever forget. Surrounded by their families, Eric proposed to Deb in the Season Ticket Holder Suite at the KeyBank Center during the Sabres Veterans Day game. Deb said "YES!"💍👩🏻❤️💋👨🏻 Spending forever with Eric, wouldn’t have been possible for Deb without the life saving care Eric received on June 6, 2024. 79 days at Buffalo General Medical Center including 3 major brain surgeries and intensive rehabilitation all because Eric was “one in a million.” All that time while Eric was in the hospital, let's not forget one very important furry, loveable, intelligent and opinionated Blue Heeler, Coral. She is a very important piece to Deb and Eric's relationship. Coral is excited that her "Pawrents" are getting married, and she hopes you join us in Buffalo on November 1st! **Please note** Out of our control, the Kansas City Chiefs are in town November 2nd to play the Bills. We realize that may impact prices of hotels during your stay when coming from out of town. We have provided several out of town lodging options, but feel free to seek other options that may fit your budget. Thank you for understanding! Please RSVP by Saturday October 4th, 2025. Thank you :) We look forward to your presence on our special day. We do realize that some of you may wish to give us a wedding gift to commemorate our union together. After having lived on our own, we have all of the household items we need. For those of you who would still like to give us a gift, we will have a wishing well at our reception that will go towards our future together. Love, Deb & Eric
