There are multiple options for flights depending on where you are flying from. Two city options to keep in mind are Guadalajara (2.30 hours away from Morelia) Mexico City (4.30 hours away from Morelia) just in case you don't fly directly into Morelia. From Guadalajara or Mexico City you will be able to catch a bus into Morelia. They are super safe and super clean!! I promise!! Best buses are Primera Plus from Mexico City Airport to Morelia and ETN from Guadalajara to Morelia. New: There is also the option of flying to Silao/Leon (BJX) airport which may be cheaper. From Leon to Morelia is about 3.5hrs.
