The Wedding Website of Max Geckler and Deborah Merino

Travel Note

Where To Stay

We are staying in... 1/14-1/16: Miami Beach (Cadet Hotel) Wed-Fri nights. 1/17-1/19: Brickell (EAST Hotel) Sat-Sun nights. If this is your first time in Miami, we recommend staying in Miami Beach/South Beach. The Welcome Party for our out-of-town guests will be at Broken Shaker in Miami Beach. This is a 20-minute drive from the wedding venue.

Travel Note

Room Blocks & Lodging

In Miami Beach we have room blocks at the Freehand Hotel and the Cadet hotel. In Brickell we have a room block at the Aloft Hotel. Note: You totally don't need to use our room blocks. There are plenty of great affordable hotels nearby. Also, the EAST Hotel (wedding venue) is pretty expensive so definitely do not feel pressured to stay there (we're only staying because 2 nights were included in our wedding package). To book with a discount (for 2 or 3 nights between 1/16-1/19) see below:

Book by phone for a discounted price. Tell them you're with the Geckler-Merino wedding room block. If you have any trouble, ask for Ray (or Rick?). I think it's $199/night for queens and $209 for king or double room. Phone: 305-672-6688 Email: info@cadethotel.com

For our out of town guests, we recommend flying in to Miami International Airport. FLL works too, just a bit of a longer drive from downtown.
