We met as a set up from our best work friends. They were best friends and talked about both Aaron and I. They joked for months about setting us up. In November of 2018, they gave Aaron my number. Aaron and I texted back and forth and finally met in person on December 8th. We became official on December 30th.

Due to COVID, Aaron moved in when the stay at home order shut down his plant. (Thanks COVID) We spent the majority of 2020 in the house with our pups. We were able to make a trip to the UP in July for his 30th birthday and planned an anniversary in Traverse City for our 2 year anniversary. We cancelled our Traverse City trip when Michigan shut down in October (Thanks Big Gretch). Instead we planned a trip to the BrewDog hotel in Columbus, Ohio. On our first night we went to the lights at the Columbus Zoo. After we had walked around the entire zoo, Aaron decided to sit down. As he started talking, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet. I got confused and thought he was playing a joke on me. He was upset and started talking about his pocket. I looked over as he was pulling out the ring. I was in complete shock! It was such a special night.
