Question

What should I wear? What's the dress code?

Answer

Wedding dress code is cocktail attire. Cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, suits, and sports coats (ties are optional). Wear shoes you want to dance in.

Is the ceremony outside?

Answer

The ceremony is happening in the covered garden at Aurora. We will be shaded and protected from rain. Definitely watch the weather regarding warmth and umbrellas.

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Hi! We love your kids, but this is an adult-only party. That said, we would love to hang out with them at the park hang on Monday.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Only folks who have received an invite are invited. Given the restaurant's capacity limit, we don't have flexibility here.

Will transportation be provided to the venue?

Answer

There won't be transportation to Aurora. The Hoxton and Moxy hotels are both about a half a mile from the venue, and the Aloft is a 20-minute car ride/40-minute Subway ride. Uber and Lyft are plentiful. If you want to take the subway, the Bedford Avenue L stop is 8 blocks from Aurora.

Is there parking?

Answer

Parking can be challenging in this area. There are some public garages. We encourage you to reach out to your hotel for their suggestion. Parking near the venue day of will probably be mostly first come/first serve street parking.

I have dietary restrictions. What do I do?

Answer

Dinner will be family-style with lots of options. That said, email us (kateandtim2023@gmail.com) your restrictions, and we will work with the restaurant to make sure you have plenty of options.

What about Covid?

Answer

If you are feeling sick or under the weather, please take a PCR test and stay home if you need to. Everyone's health is truly the most important thing.
