We encourage everyone to stay on-site at IslandWood to experience all of the activities we have planned for the weekend… but if you prefer to be off-site, we completely understand. Bainbridge Island has an assortment of hotels and vacation rentals, but be sure to book early as it will be Labor Day weekend.

Although we love your little ones, our wedding weekend will be an adults-only affair.
Friday night: casual. After the welcome dinner, we will be heading to an outside amphitheater for stories and s’mores. The average evening temperature in September is in the 50s. Saturday day: casual. There will be guided tours in the morning and the opportunity to explore the forested trails, pond, meadow, garden, two treehouses, suspension bridge, and canopy tower of IslandWood. The average daytime temperature in September is in the low 70s. Saturday evening: cocktail/formal. We encourage everyone to get as dressed up as you’d like! The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors before we move inside for dinner and dancing!
Yes, you can indicate your food allergies and restrictions on a survey that will be sent out by IslandWood.
The ceremony will start at 5:00pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.
