I met Marissa during my freshman year of high school in 2012 at church. My mom paid me a dollar to go make a friend and since my family walked in after her family I figured why not. I went up to her and asked a really dumb question, and naturally I got some sass. We eventually had a playdate outside of church and that's when the friendship blossomed. Marissa has taught me to be true to myself and has accepted every part of me. Through all the ups and downs Marissa is my sister from another mister. I always wanted a big sister and now I have one. We have the most fun together and her family calls us "the giggle sisters" because if we aren't eating we are laughing, unless we are doing both then I may do a spit take which has happened more times than I care to admit.
Eloise Mahaffey
Best Woman
Although there is a 13 year age gap between us no one would know. Eloise and I are two halves of the same coin and it shows by our witt, goofiness, and the way we care for others. Eloise is the definition of going hard for family and the ones she cares about. Eloise takes her role of big sister seriously and never failed to show up when I needed it. I knew Eloise needed to have a special part in this day and what better way than to have her standing by my side just like she has my whole life.
Shania Henderson

Shania is my future cousin in law but it's already official in my eyes. She has the purest heart and even though we don't talk each day we have the best time when we are together. Shania and I are able to just hang out and connect so effortlessly. We can talk about anything and everything without judgement and we always speak life into one another. The amount of inside jokes we have is ridiculous and it's crazy how alike we look. My uncle got us confused for a hot second until my aunt told him otherwise.
Adell Dukes
Best Man
Adell is two years older but guess who's taller? Adell is my best friend and growing up some people thought we were twins and I know that's hard to believe because look at him then look at me. Adell is someone who shows up and shows out for his family no matter what unless he's tired. But forreal, all jokes aside Adell really has a great heart, subpar jokes, and me as his little brother. I'm so happy he gets the honor to stand next to me while I marry my best friend.
Jillian Cloven
Bridesmaid
I met Jillian at work and when her and I started working closely together we became instant friends. Jill has such a giving heart and as we have learned about each other we have realized we have lived similar lives with the way we think and some life experiences that have happened. We have had our random facetimes and phone calls to vent and we end up just laughing in the end. Jill is the person who is the first on the dance floor and the last to leave, but that's okay because we'll be there dancing together.
Lee Wright
Groomsman
I met Lee at work and now almost 7 years later we are still moving product together. As Dearah would say he's my best friend and I can't technically say no because she's right (I'm learning quickly). Lee and I have been there for each other through the years and have created a lasting friendship. Lee is not a "yes" man and I appreciate the honest conversations we have had that truly exemplify the meaning of a true friend.
Denise Bartolo

Denise is another coworker who became a best friend. Denise trained me and we talked all night long and got to know each other. Denise is someone who makes the most of each moment and when we hang out it's effortless. I love that we both are goofy and truly ourselves with each other and there for each other. With us both being in school we don't always see each other as often as we would like, but yet we always find time to catch up at least once a week. I'm so excited to have my laughing buddy standing up with me.

Dontae is another friend I met at work that became a close buddy of mine. Dontae is an all around great genuine guy who gives sound advice and is a fantastic father. He's someone who knows how to make the most of each moment and is the life of the party.

I have been watching Charlie for as long as I can remember and she has become my unofficial adopted niece. I absolutely adore Charlie and we have learned so much from each other. Charlie and I are inseparable and have a fun handshake that may be seen at the wedding if you pay close attention. We take many adventures and will always make more. Charlie has a goal of going to all 50 states and I'm happy I get to be able to help aid in achieving her goal. We have many more to explore but that's okay considering she's my little travel buddy. It's been an honor having a front row seat of watching this sweet, funny, sassy, intelligent, and caring young lady grow up. I can't wait to see who she becomes.
