Accio, wedding!

They say timing is everything and for Jared and Sarah, that couldn’t be more true. They first connected on Instagram through mutual friends over a shared love of cosplay and all things nerdy. What started as friendly messages soon turned into long, late night conversations. Fast forwarding a few months, they met in person for the first time at a Comic-Con in Atlanta. Fun fact: due to Jared’s costume, Sarah never saw his face. A few months later, they both found themselves closing old chapters in their lives, each coming out of past relationships and rediscovering who they were. After her holiday trip back home to Seattle, Sarah mentioned she needed a warmer weather vacation. Upon seeing this, Jared did what any sane person would do and quickly invited Sarah to visit him in DC, where it was even colder. It was supposed to be a great way for them to relax and enjoy each other’s company as good friends, as they had virtually for the past few months. However, after spending the first day together sightseeing in DC (and Sarah finally seeing Jared’s face in person), it was obvious there was a deeper connection. From that moment on, their lives have been beautifully intertwined. From conventions, premieres, and movie nights, to new places and delicious foods. They’ve shared countless adventures, each one reminding them how lucky they are to have found each other. Over Christmas in 2024 on a trip to Leavenworth, despite the ring Jared had already designed not being ready yet, he decided two nights before that he wanted to propose. He promptly borrowed a fake ring from his jeweler and lined up a photographer that following morning. With a resounding “Yes” from Sarah, an already amazing trip was made that much more meaningful. Now, after 4 years together, they can’t wait to experience this magical day surrounded by friends and family, and start the next chapter of their lives together!
