In the summer of 2017, Mark was attending school at WSUV and Megan worked as an Advanced Barista at Peet's Coffee nearby. Mark would periodically stop by the coffee shop between classes or to study. We talked and flirted for many months, until our first date in November. Mark asked Megan to officially be his girlfriend on her birthday (Feb 4), while staying at McMenamin's Edgefield. We began dating at Edgefield and are excited to start our marriage there as well!

On their 5th anniversary, Mark and Megan spent the weekend exploring a cold and snowy Leavenworth, WA. Just before leaving town, they took one last walk through the trails and over the bridge, where he surprised her with the proposal.
