It’s really something when your cousins are your best friends. When Frankie was born, Deanna felt a love she’s never known before. Watching Frankie grow up is one of Deanna’s greatest life blessings. When not belting out songs from Frozen or wearing face masks, Frankie is probably attempting to teach Deanna a TikTok dance in a desperate attempt to keep her older cousin cool.

Rocco Altieri

Rocco is easily the coolest kid in town. When Deanna's cousin first met Ty he nicknamed him "Twizzler" and it stuck. A few years later and Ty taught Rocco how to spike his hair just like him. Rocco is Ty and Deanna's little buddy. Get ready to tear up the dance floor with this dancing machine of a junior groomsman, and be sure to keep an eye out for him in the major leagues one day.

Kayla Nash

Maid of Honor

Kayla and Deanna have been best friends for 20 years. Well, maybe not BEST friends at first when their parents forced a playdate... but eventually it caught on. When they decided to go to separate states for college, they got so emotional you would've thought they would never see each other again. Nonetheless, 20 years of dance parties in the kitchen, 'belly-hurting' laughter, High School Musical obsessions, practice 'first dates,' and so many memories, there is no one else more fit for the title "Maid of Honor."

Guy Olivero

Best Man

Brothers at birth; friends for a lifetime. Growing up only 18 months apart, Ty and Guy always had a strong relationship. They always had each others backs on the playground and in school. No one messed with the "Olivero Boys." Guy would show Ty around the baseball field and Ty would show Guy where all the hot spots in the river were. Guy always left the "dirty jobs" for Ty, like baiting the hook, taking the fish off, cleaning up after one of Guy's parties and even after the dogs. These two are total opposites, but at the same time, one in the same. Ty's grateful for his brother and couldn't have picked a better man for the title of Best Man.

Maggie Vellucci

Maggie stepped into her role as Deanna’s “older sister” long before she married her brother. Not only has Maggie been a role model throughout high school but also throughout adulthood. Maggie is the epitome of “beauty and brains” and will absolutely change the world one day. It was like the Vellucci family was complete when she and Jesse made it official (even though they all knew she was one of them the day they met her).

Jesse is Deanna’s OG bodyguard. It was always so important to her that the person she chose to spend her life with would have a good relationship with her big brother. Well, that’s exactly what she got. Ty and Jesse were fast friends. Not only will Ty be gaining a wife, but he’ll also be gaining another brother. He is so happy he gets to call Jesse not only a friend but family too.

Katie van Dijk

Katie (more formally known to everyone as “Little”) and Deanna met at Florida State University where they became sorority sisters and Katie took on the role as “Little.” After that, her name should have legally been changed to Little because almost everyone in Deanna’s life calls her that (and she is more likely to respond to that rather than Katie at the wedding). Little quickly became family when she spent a few months during her law school career living with the Vellucci’s, earning the most recent name: Little van Vellucci. If you’re up for a “dance off” on wedding day, Little is your girl.

Joseph Knolmajer

Groomsman

Joey is Ty’s go-to fishing buddy. Whether it be getting up at 3am for striped bass, going 50 miles off shore to fish for some Tuna, or putting a pole in whatever body of water they can find near their houses, fishing has always brought them together. They’ve weathered the freezing cold and waves crashing on the boat just to catch some fish. Sorry Joe, but Ty’s got a new First Mate in town…although when Joey’s the captain, everyone’s in good hands.

Mallory Ullrich

Deanna is grateful to the “law school Gods” for putting Mallory in her path at Rutgers Law. Not only was their friendship put through the ringer of studying for finals and the bar exam, but they also weathered the November 2018 “snowpocalypse” where it took them 2 hours to get out of a parking garage and 5 hours to go 7 miles through the lovely streets of Newark at night. Mallory has been there for all of Deanna’s major events in her adult life and when determining who would be by her side on her wedding day, Mallory was a shoe-in. If you’re looking for legal advice, you may even get the ‘family and friends’ rate.

Russell Benner

There was no need for Mallory and Deanna to force a friendship onto Russ and Ty because from the first day they met, it was love at first sushi roll. The four of them met for a double date at a restaurant which quickly turned into Russ and Ty planning the next hang out. Not only is Russell a great friend, but it’s constant laughter when he’s around. Weathering the ‘our girlfriends are in law school’ storm together, Ty didn’t have to think twice about having Russ next to him on his wedding day, and throughout life when they both become stay at home dad’s while the girls make the big bucks…

Nikki Douglas

Ty said to Deanna, “you’re about to meet my best friend” about 5 minutes before meeting Nikki for the first time. No pressure, right? Luckily, it was ‘friends at first sight’ and they’ve been pretty inseparable ever since. Fast forward a few years (and babies) later, and Nikki filled a spot in Deanna’s life that she always felt was missing. When not out there saving lives as a nurse, Nikki is a mom to two beautiful babies. If you’re looking for a drinking buddy, go find her (like I said, she’s a mom to two beautiful babies…).

Kyle Douglas

Kyle and Ty’s friendship spans over the course of 20 years. Growing up, Kyle’s house was the hangout spot. The roles switched when they grew up because now when Deanna comes home from work she usually walks in the door and says “Hey Kyle” because he’s most likely hanging out in the basement. Kyle, Nikki, Ty and Deanna quickly became inseparable once Ty and Deanna started dating. From boat days to Atlantic City trips, to weekly dinners and #nosecrets, Kyle and Ty will always be each other's 'ride or die.'

Meagan Leon

Meagan and Deanna met at Florida State and were fast friends and sorority sisters. Meagan is Deanna’s fiercest friend who always comes to bat for her. Typically, these two were playing “mom” on nights out in college and never turned down an opportunity to watch sappy wedding videos or military homecomings on YouTube. As Deanna’s moral compass and never afraid to shut down any of Deanna’s bad decisions, planning a wedding would have been impossible without her.

Justin Mentuck

Ty met Justin (and Kyle) playing manhunt with the neighborhood kids. Justin and Ty worked their first couple of jobs together, and when one of them left that job, the other was not far behind. Years of ski trips, Dave Matthews Band concerts, July 4th parties and fireworks, 4H fairs, and some not so great decisions, have led them to this point. Ty knows he can always count on Justin to show up when he needs him.

Jamie Stormes

Jamie is the definition of a good friend. Deanna & Jamie met their freshman year when fate put them in the same dorm. As roommates, (in what you’d call the ‘typical college townhouse’ that gave their mothers nightmares), Deanna spent her time interrupting Jamie’s binge watching of either New Girl or Greys Anatomy by taking over the Apple TV and displaying selfies from the other room, or actively awaiting the midnight phone call with the request for a ride home from Wine Down Wednesdays. Senior year Deanna spent more time at Jamie’s apartment than the sorority house where she lived, where they spent many nights watching reruns of the Real World. Despite the distance, Jamie has always remained constant in Deanna’s life.

Jon, or more formally known as "Sunks", has been in Ty's life since their T-ball days and has always welcomed Deanna into their friend group with open arms. When not being the life of the party, Sunks is Ty's other 'fishing buddy' and they are always looking for new spots to try. With a friendship that's lasted this long, Ty knows he can always count on Sunks to be there for the big things in life, especially his wedding.

Teresa has been there for a lot of Deanna’s important events. Teresa was Deanna’s home away from home at Florida State, especially during the holidays, and during all sorority socials where they always seemed to take the theme a little too seriously. Before sophomore year of college, Teresa flew up to Jersey to make the drive back to Tallahassee where she attempted to persuade the Twinkie truck driver to throw her one while on I-95. If you can relate to her “love for the way the grass feels up north” or just want to hang out with the life of the party, she’s your girl.

Tommy Rock

Tommy and Ty met through his brother, working for a friend of theirs over the years. Tommy is one of the quirkiest guys you will meet. He has stuck by Ty's side throughout life. When Deanna and Ty first met, Ty and Tommy were attached at the hip. Tommy, the couch surfer, stayed at the Olivero's house for so many years, it was like Ty had two brothers. The wedding day wouldn't be right without him.
