Tom and Deanna matched on Bumble in May 2021, but it wasn’t until their first date in June that sparks truly flew. They spent hours talking—so long, in fact, that the restaurant was getting ready to close. From that night on, they both knew there was something special between them. Their relationship has always been filled with love, laughter, and adventure. One of their favorite things to do together is travel. Over the years, they’ve made unforgettable memories in places like Aruba, Greece, Nashville, Myrtle Beach, West Virginia, and Florida (more times than they can count!). It was only fitting that Tom chose Florida as the place to pop the question. In a rare twist, he offered to plan a special date night during their trip to Miami—something Deanna usually takes charge of. Though a little suspicious, she let him take the reins. That night, she walked into a beautiful waterfront restaurant and was greeted by a glowing “Marry Me” sign. Tom had planned the perfect proposal, followed by a romantic dinner to celebrate the beginning of their next chapter. From that moment on, the wedding planning began. They chose to say “I do” at St. Patrick’s Church, followed by a celebration at one of their favorite venues—Flowerfield.
