We're Getting Married

Taylor and I met our junior year of highschool through mutual friends. We soon learned that we both had horses and as fate would have it Taylor and his mom were needing a place to keep their two horse. It was not long after that the Taylor and his parents brought their horse to my parents place to board them, that was in 2007. Over the next year Taylor final decided to ask me to be hid girlfriend. We went to senior prom together and dated til December of 2008. We both went our separate ways but never loss touch with each other on accord of Taylor and his family still having their horses at my parents house. Fast forward 13 years we found ourselves both single and never really forgetting about one another. In June of 2021 Taylor had came back from a mounted shooting event and I decided to go out a talk to him about how it went and who all won what. We chatted for over an hour and than I went back into my house. Over the next couple week we texted back and forth and seen each other. In that time I kept thinking to myself we can only be friends because his horses are at my parents house. Looking back now who was I kidding I wanted to be more than his friend. Taylor and I decided November of 2021 we were going to give us another chance. Many have said absence makes the heart grow fonder well after thirteen years of us being apart I would say that person definitely knew what they were talking about. I am excited to be marrying my best friend and my true one person.
