We had SO many thoughts, tears, prayers, and stresses when it came to making this decision. Do we move forward with the wedding now that there are so many restrictions and limitations due to COVID-19? Do we really have to cut down our list? Ultimately, we decided that waiting wasn't in our timeline, and to move forward with our original plans to have the wedding in 2020. Thankfully, we were able to secure another venue that offered more options. Scotland Run has an outdoor pavilion in their landscaped garden area that will be used as a ceremony area. With New Jersey and more states opening up, it has been strongly recommended for the flow of events and comfort of our guests that we move our reception inside at this time. Doors will be open. Distancing measures will be taken for the table placement. The area for cocktail hour will have an outdoor area. There were also be some "extra distanced" tables for those that would prefer to be a little more spaced. Wait staff will be masked and gloved. For indoor setting (bathrooms, foyer areas), they are asking that guests be masked. We will have masks available if needed. Dinner will be a plated offering. There are outdoor fans under the pavilion and mobile heaters, if needed. We are trying to keep the event as open-aired as possible. We have learned that these measures, while they significantly reduce risk of infection, do not guarantee immunity. That said, we only ask that you be there if you feel safe in these circumstances, and that being there would not be a significant risk to your health, i.e., if you are immunocompromised or considered high risk population. We are praying that these small changes we have to make, will not overall compromise the substance of why we are there- so that we can make this promise in front of those that are the closest to us. We love each and every one of you, and appreciate your understanding and patience with us while we figured this whole thing out.
Sam and I have been together for two years now. I had moved from Florida to start a new life and a year after that, I finally decided to seal my independence with buying a new house...and then Sam was my loan officer. When I first met him, I was completely intrigued by how confident, loyal, and hard working he was. Our families blended together without any effort; everything just fit. He has completely become my best friend, my partner. He’s always stepped up to any occasion. He’s that kind of guy. I feel blessed to have him in my life and can't wait to marry him in the presence of all of our favorite people! Wow, it all started with a Mortgage and I never expected to find my "client for life". I have be enamored by so many of Deanna's traits and strengths from the moment we met. She is the most loyal, unselfish, and caring person I have ever met and a person that I strive to be. It was truly a perfect match and fully confirmed upon the approval of our fur babies Gus and Sophie! When you truly love someone, everything becomes clearer, tasks become easier and your heart becomes fuller. The past two and half years have been some of the best and I count my blessings that I'm blessed with such a special person to share this life with. I can't wait to marry my best friend and continue this journey of life together! Hope to see Everyone in October!!
